| Parent Programs
Sign2Speak programs lend themselves to many different settings and locations, from your home to your workplace and more. Below are our basic programs, but please visit our Specialized Programs page to see if Sign2Speak can enhance other aspects of your life and community. While each program follows a basic format, we will happily adapt the program to your specific needs!
PRESENTATIONS
Presentations are 1 hour in length and go over the very basics of the Signing with your Baby program. This is a jump start or an introduction to further delving into the journey of signing in your family. Signing with your Baby materials will be available for purchase.
Costs for presentations vary. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
WORKSHOPS
Workshops are two to three hours long and usually include the Complete Learning Kit (a $49.95 value). We'll begin with the basics of signing with your baby and move on to specific signs for your baby's daily life, including meal time signs, relationship signs, animals and more. There will plenty of time for practice, fun interaction and questions. Workshops can be modified for private in-home sessions with similar hosting family benefits (see specials).
In addition to both parents attending, consider inviting a grandparent, daycare provider or other special adult in the child's life.
Because of the time intensive nature of a workshop, we use a format targeted toward adults and older children. Those interested in attending with babies and toddlers should make sure two adults attend so one can tend to the babies' needs.
CLASSES
Classes run up to five weeks and are approximately an hour long each. We start with an introduction to signing and each successive class builds on the previous, focusing on an aspect of baby's daily life and interactions: food, relationships, animals, diapering, motivations and more. Classes can be tailored to fit the specific needs of the host and participating families. Classes can be modified for community offerings, as well.

Classes are for up to 2 attendees and include the Complete Learning Kit (a $49.95 value). Host families receive a discounted fee. Children are welcome!
